The Need is There

Demanding citizens with high expectation levels, violence in the workplace and the need for skilled managers have convinced city governments there is an even greater need to provide specialized training to their staff and management personnel.

The Challenge

Five years ago, we saw the need to develop specific training workshops tailored to the unique city environment.

We now have the "Workshops for Cities" program that consists of 15 half-day workshops. These have been developed to respond to the specific needs expressed by personnel from more than 60 cities. We've tested and refined these workshops, and are now offering (in protected territories) the materials, training and ongoing support needed to run a successful home-based training business in this unique niche market.

How is the program unique? What do I need to Succeed?

Workshops for Cities is targeted to a niche market. There are thousands of training programs available, but very few companies, if any, provide training exclusively to cities. Each of our 15 workshops has been tested in the field, refined based on input from thousands of city employees and then tested again for effectiveness. This process was repeated until each of the 15 workshops met a standard of excellence that far surpasses any other "general" training programs. This high standard has yielded repeat business because the material is specific to the city environment.

Is there really a need for this program?

The more taxes citizens pay, the higher their expectations of "customer service providers." A city employee hears, "I pay your salary" all too often.

A survey of police chiefs revealed the best remedy to avoid terror and violence in the workplace is the belief that department managers must provide effective feedback and have superior communication skills.

City employees are often confronted with angry, hostile citizens and the need for conflict resolution skills is becoming increasingly apparent.

City managers often aren't equipped with the skills needed for the demanding challenges of motivating, managing change, team building, dealing with negativity, and difficult attitudes.

What is the price?

A one time investment of $49,900. There are no other fees, royalties, or dues. We furnish the training and on-going support you need to succeed!
